Who is this course for?

Our course is suitable for educators, beginners, and advanced learners alike. No prior knowledge is required. The course lasts for 5 days and includes both theoretical and practical units. You'll have the opportunity to exchange ideas and share experiences with other participants.

Our course plan

 

Day 1: Welcome to the Mindfulness Oasis 

Get acquainted with the fundamentals of mindfulness and discover the crucial role resilience plays in the teaching profession. We lay the groundwork for the course, preparing for a week of self-exploration and growth.

 

Day 2: Yoga and Mindfulness: Harmony for Body and Mind (weather permitting) 

Spend this day outdoors experiencing various breathing and body exercises to deepen mindfulness principles. These practical exercises help sharpen focus and alleviate stress, with insights on integrating them into your daily teaching routine. Additionally, learn gratitude exercises to enhance appreciation for life's small joys.

 

Day 3: Essential Oils and Progressive Muscle Relaxation 

Dive into the world of essential oils and their impact on mindfulness practices. Explore how scents can aid relaxation and concentration while learning practical applications for the classroom. Discover how progressive muscle relaxation contributes to nervous system regulation.

 

Day 4: Mindfulness in the Classroom 

Uncover the transformative power of mindfulness exercises in teaching. Learn short, student-friendly exercises to boost concentration and create an empathetic learning environment. Special attention will be given to mindful communication in the classroom, with strategies for seamlessly integrating these exercises into your teaching.

 

Day 5: Conclusion, Reflection, and Cultural Excursion 

Apply your knowledge of personal resilience and learn self-care techniques to preserve energy. Reflect collectively on lessons learned, developing individual action plans to integrate newfound skills into your teaching. We conclude the week with a cultural excursion, offering the chance to immerse yourself in local culture and broaden your perspectives.

 

This course not only deepens your mindfulness practice but also equips you with tools to create a supportive and mindful classroom environment. Discover how mindfulness and resilience can enhance not only your well-being but also your students' learning experience.

Goals

The aim of this 5-day course  is to equip educators with the necessary tools, practices, and perspectives to promote their own mindfulness and resilience and successfully integrate these concepts into their professional and personal lives. Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

 

Understand and apply mindfulness: Participants will develop a solid understanding of mindfulness and be able to apply various mindfulness exercises in their personal and professional lives.

 

Enhance resilience: Participants will recognize the importance of resilience in the teaching profession and learn strategies to improve their emotional strength, stress management skills, and ability to adapt quickly.

 

Utilize essential oils to support mindfulness: Participants will understand how essential oils can influence mindfulness and be able to use this knowledge to promote relaxation and focus.

 

Practice mindfulness in the classroom: Participants will learn a variety of mindfulness exercises that seamlessly integrate into teaching to create a positive learning environment and provide students with tools for increasing concentration and fostering empathy.

 

Experience cultural enrichment: Participants will have the opportunity to broaden their perspectives through cultural experiences and deepen their own mindfulness practice through creative activities.

 

Prioritize self-care: Participants will learn self-care techniques to protect their physical, emotional, and mental health and increase their resilience in the long term.

 

Develop an individual action plan: By the end of the course, participants will be able to translate their newly acquired knowledge and skills into a personal action plan to sustainably integrate mindfulness and resilience into their teaching routine.

 

With these goals in mind, participants will emerge from the course empowered, inspired, and equipped to guide themselves and their students with mindfulness, resilience, and empathy.
